Village Hall and Recreation Ground Committee

This is a charitable trust, (Charity no.1090564), set up in 1976 to administer the Village Hall, Recreation Ground and Memorial Gardens. The spacious recreation ground has tennis courts and a multi-sport court, a children's playground, adult exercise equipment and a former cricket pavilion. The main source of funds is from the annual fete and other fund raising events held during the course of the year. The funds are used to maintain and improve the facilities.

Bawdsey Multi-Sports Club has 2 Courts on Bawdsey's Recreation Ground. One court is multi-purpose and can be used for basketball, 5-a-side football, netball and tennis. The other is exclusively for tennis. Annual membership is available or you can book and pay per session. Contact Andrew or Dianne Rouse for information on membership and bookings. Tel: 411626.
