Bawdsey History Afternoon – 

This talk was postponed from last month owing to illness. Jenny Webb will now give her third illustrated talk on Bawdsey on Saturday 4 November at 2.00pm in the Village Hall. This latest talk will cover the Legacy of the Quilters and Bawdsey at War. The first half will show how the village was shaped by three generations of Quilters over the course of 75 years. The second half covers Bawdsey in the two world wars especially the development of Radar at Bawdsey Manor, and the Cold War. All welcome. Teas will be served with voluntary contributions.
